This is a hand printed book made from collagraph prints which have been painted in watercolour and embellished with gold paint. It tells the story of a bittern and his mate and is based on a small nature reserve not far from my home on the Suffolk Coast. The book comes in a buff coloured card cover digitally printed with names used in folklore for a bittern.At the end of the book is a poem written by myself. Further editions may differ slightly in tone or colouring due to the processes involved.
